Potato Chips & Savoury Snacks
Crisps, extruded snacks and savoury bites made in Vietnam: Lay's and Poca from PepsiCo, Orion, Slide and Richy. From the 28g single-serve to the 303g share bag, each with its units per carton.
What is on this shelf
Poca and Lay's are the same PepsiCo production and split by range rather than by quality: Lay's carries the Stax canister and the Wavy cut, Poca the local flavours that do not exist elsewhere. Orion covers the extruded corn and potato snacks, Slide the sheeted crisps. The flavour is the SKU on this shelf, and the ones that travel are the ones a buyer cannot get from a Thai or Korean supplier: seaweed, spicy lobster, salted egg.

Bulk, not weight
A carton of crisps weighs almost nothing and takes up a great deal of room, so this is the one shelf where a container fills up long before it gets heavy. That makes it the wrong line to build a load out of on its own and the right line to pair with detergent or fabric conditioner, which run out of weight first. Carton counts here run from 10 to 160 depending on format, and the canister lines stack better than the bags.
