Dried fruit and vegetable snacks made in Vietnam by Vinamit, the house that opened this trade: vacuum freeze dried mango, jackfruit, durian, dragon fruit and pineapple, and vacuum fried taro and sweet potato, from 30g to 500g.
What is on this shelf
Two processes, and the difference is the whole product. Vacuum freeze drying takes the water out at low temperature and leaves the fruit at its own colour and flavour, which is what the mango, jackfruit, durian and dragon fruit lines are. Vacuum frying is what makes taro and sweet potato into a crisp. Beside them sit the soft dried fruits, including a mango with no added sugar, and the chocolate covered lines.

The shelf nobody else can copy
Thai and Korean suppliers cover snacks, sauce and instant noodles; jackfruit and durian at this scale are Vietnamese, and that is why this shelf earns its own page rather than sitting inside confectionery. It is also light and long life, so it fills the last cubic metres of a mixed container without adding weight. Cartons run from 10 to 60 depending on pack size, and the desk will tell you which fruits are in season.
