This is the aisle a Vietnamese kitchen abroad orders from, and it is the one with the least substitutable goods on it. Instant noodles and sauce are the two deep shelves. Beside them sit the lines that are Vietnamese rather than merely made in Vietnam: rice paper, fish sauce, and the condensed milk that Vietnamese coffee needs. Dense, long lived and easy to plan
